Mogfall
Mogfall is a somber, snow-laden coastal land cloaked year-round in thick fog. Shrouded in chill and mystery, its people have long adapted to the harsh climate and unpredictable tides. Perched high above the crashing waves, Mogfallaians dwell within their iconic red-stone castles — tall, narrow keeps built atop jagged cliffs that pierce the sea mist like crimson fangs.
Deprived of regular sunlight, unlike the rest of Lucis which thrives on solar energy, Mogfall has mastered a unique form of energy harnessing. Along the submerged cliffside rocks beneath the waterline, intricate mechanisms are embedded to capture the sheer force of wave pressure. With every crash of the sea, energy is generated and transferred through arcane-conductive stonework into the castles above. This innovation, both magical and mechanical, keeps the interiors of their cold, brooding keeps warm and inviting — a flicker of comfort in a land otherwise marked by gloom.
Despite the bleakness outside, Mogfallaians are proud, resilient, and known for their warmth within stone walls, gathering around hearths that never go cold.
