The Leviathan is a high-mobility aerial warrior who wields a long lance with extended reach. They specialize in skyborne assaults, plunging strikes, and battlefield control from unexpected angles — combining vertical dominance with devastating melee impact.

Their lance has a much higher range than most regular swords, claymores, daggers, etc. Leviathans are the Melee class with the highest range. As a Leviathan, your jump distance is increased, and you can jump twice per turn. If you land on difficult terrain, you will ignore it unless walked on. If you throw your lance, you can use a bonus action to have it return to you immediately. As a Leviathan, you gain absolutely no fall damage.

Abilities:

Leviathan Jump – You use an action point to jump high into the air and remain elevated. You may still move at this time. On your next turn, you can perform an array of attacks from the air:

Airborne Lunge – You lunge at an enemy from the air. Range - medium

Airborne Lance – You throw your lance at an enemy. Range – long

Airborne Push – You lunge down at an enemy, pushing them instead of attacking them. Push deals no damage but guarantees an enemy being pushed back and also rolls to knock them prone. Range - short

Airborne Shockwave – Lunges at a specific area below and rams your lance at the ground, causing a small shockwave that will damage enemies and push them back. Range – medium

During a Leviathan Jump, you are untargetable by melee attacks, but ranged attacks roll to knock you back to ground level. From a high elevation, you have advantage.

Vaulting Stride (Passive) - When jumping, if jump path includes an enemy below, you roll to attack them during the jump.

Disengage: Leap – You may use a bonus action to leap out of harm's way in a backwards cone and lose no movement speed.

Windpierce (Reaction) - If an attack of opportunity is triggered on an enemy by you, you may trigger this reaction, allowing you to, instead of dealing damage to the passing enemy, push yourself off of them and into the air. This results in the enemy being pushed, rolled to be knocked prone, and results in you now automatically being in Leviathan Jump mode.

Windborne Defense – If surrounded by 3 or more enemies, you roll to gain the bonus action Windborne Defense, a spin of your lance in a 360 motion that will push back enemies in your immediate vicinity with Wind damage.

Ultimate Ability – Tempest Descent – You select 5 enemies to jump attack all at once, each jump attack creating a medium-sized shockwave that will push back nearby enemies and objects and deal minute Wind damage. You may select where to land after this attack, anywhere on the battlefield. For 3 turns after this, Leviathan Jump is a bonus action.
