Through arcane and alchemical mastery, the Gearborn were given thought, will, and identity. Now officially recognized as living beings and a distinct human-adjacent race, the Gearborn have begun integrating into society—though not without resistance and prejudice from those who fear or misunderstand their mechanical nature.
