Fox-Folk
The Fox-Folk are a clever and elusive Lucian race gifted with the ability to shapeshift into foxes at will. Even in human form, they retain distinct traits: orange fox-like ears and a double tail, a unique feature that grants them perfect balance and ensures they always land on their feet.
Known throughout Lucis as tricksters and illusionists, Fox-Folk dwell in the woodland edges, where they use their fox forms to lure, confuse, or playfully torment wanderers. Their signature is a laughter-like call, used to distract or mislead from the underbrush — a sound both eerie and strangely inviting. Mischievous yet rarely malevolent, Fox-Folk thrive on wit, charm, and the thrill of a well-executed deception.
