Dissector
"The Dissector is a grim and clinical battlefield surgeon—part healer, part experimenter—who uses surgical tools, precision incisions, and chemical anesthetics to aid or hinder. While they can heal wounds efficiently, their methods often come with unsettling side effects like fatigue, numbness, or mental fog. In combat, the Dissector deals low direct damage, but excels at causing Bleeding, inflicting Paralysis, and inducing Sleep via chemical agents."
The Dissector wields a tool set of surgical tools, like scissors, scalpels, and bone saws, that can heal characters very well, but applies negative status effects while doing so. Melee attacks using surgical tools deal weak damage but roll high to apply bleeding.
Abilities:
Anesthetic Arsenal – You inject a creature with anesthesia, making them fall asleep for 1 turn on a failed Constitution save.
Field Surgery – You perform surgery on an ally you can touch, healing them highly but rolling to inflict a random negative status effect for 2 to 3 turns. Medical Complication statuses include:
Target can become Dazed.
Target is slowed for 2 turns.
Target is silenced for 2 turns.
Surgical Recovery (Reaction) - When Field Surgery inflicts a negative status effect, you may trigger this reaction that halves the amount of healing but negates the negative effect.
Ultimate Ability – Anatomical Override – You inject a prototype painkiller into an ally of your choice that prevents them from taking any damage whatsoever for 3 turns.
