Cuervo Ignevennia VIII, crown prince of Ignevente and heir to the throne, is a young man of sharp ambition and restless determination. Yet, despite his noble blood and fair upbringing, his people often see him as unfit to inherit the crown. Ignevente is a kingdom famed for its warriors—honed in melee combat, revered for their physical strength, and guided by centuries of martial tradition. To the populace, a king must embody this legacy, a bulwark of steel and strategy who leads from the front lines. Cuervo, however, has chosen a different path. While he trains his body as expected, his true passion lies in the pursuit of Green Magic—an art brought from distant lands, alien to Ignevente’s ways, and regarded by many as weakness rather than strength.
This misjudgment has left Cuervo caught between his own vision and the unyielding expectations of his people. Though young, fit, and capable, he is driven by the constant weight of doubt to prove himself worthy, seeking validation in every act. His studies of Green Magic have made him thoughtful, strategic, and uniquely prepared for challenges that brute strength alone cannot conquer, but ignorance and tradition blind his countrymen to this truth. To them, he is a prince distracted by mysticism; to himself, he is a future king striving to unite strength and wisdom. Whether Cuervo will rise to change the perception of his people or be broken by it remains uncertain, but his struggle already marks him as a ruler unlike any Ignevente has ever known.
