The Clockworker is a construct-summoning tactical class that specializes in building and deploying limited-time mechanical animal constructs onto the battlefield. These constructs are autonomous and act independently but must return to their creator periodically to be recharged with steam — causing one missed turn for both robot and caster during the refill.
The Clockworker also uses steam pressure, explosive engineering, and mobility tech to control the field, placing mines, launching themselves into the air, or delivering steam-based burns.
Abilities:
Build Mechanical Construct – You build a mechanical construct. You can build one of the following:
Attacker Rabbit – Suited to attack.
Guarding Hound – Suited to interfere ranged enemy attacks.
Scouting Sparrow – Suited to recognize hidden features or enemies.
Charging Toad – Self Explodes when it reaches it's target.
Issue Command – You issue a more specific command to an existing construct. Any command can be given, but some constructs are more suited to specific commands:
Attack Enemy – Targets an enemy to be attacked by the construct.
Stay by Me – Orders the construct to stay by your side and defend you.
Guard Creature – You order the construct to guard a specific creature.
Refuel – You order a specific number of active constructs to return to you to refuel. This takes one turn away from you while you refuel.
Tinker – Repairs a construct fully. Can also provide a small amount of HP to mechanical creatures.
Ultimate Ability – Final Assembly – You turn yourself into a replica of one of your clockwork animals, except considerably larger.
