Classes
In the Sisterworlds, Classes refer to the general profession or discipline through which an individual’s skills and strengths are defined. A person’s class reflects not only their abilities, but the path they have chosen to master—be it in battle, craft, or service. Across societies, one’s class is a mark of both identity and expectation, often determining their role within communities, armies, and even hierarchies of power. From warriors and archers to red mages and taxidermists, the diversity of classes has expanded over the ages to encompass nearly every art, trade, and talent known to civilization.
The classification system itself originated in eras of great wars, when tacticians sought a way to efficiently organize their forces and understand what each fighter could bring to the battlefield. It became a universal method of strategy and structure, allowing commanders to assign their soldiers with precision. For example, Tanks—those of great endurance and strength—are trained to endure blows and draw enemy attention, standing at the front lines as living shields, while Supports specialize in assisting allies through healing, enhancement, or distraction. Over time, what began as a military framework grew into a cultural language of identity, shaping how people of the Sisterworlds view their own purpose and potential.
