Chirithen
The Chirithen, a race native to the shadowed world of Diamante, are beings of the dark, dwelling deep within sprawling cave systems far beneath the surface. Their small, sharp faces, pointed ears, five glimmering eyes and coccoon-like unfolding give them an unmistakably arachnid or insectoid appearance—features that many outsiders find deeply unsettling. Their skin is coarse and textured, adapted to the cold, damp stone they call home.
Yet despite their fearsome looks, the Chirithen are a measured people, avoiding conflict whenever possible and valuing patience, strategy, and quiet understanding. Still, those who mistake their restraint for weakness learn quickly that they are formidable opponents. Each Chirithen bears venomous fangs linked to specialized glands, and the nature of their venom varies between subraces, giving rise to distinctions both physical and cultural. Their skin tones often mirror the hue of their venom—green, crimson or blue—and their society is divided into clans defined by these traits.
Among themselves, venom is not merely a weapon but a sacred symbol of heritage and identity, marking every Chirithen as both dangerous and divine within the labyrinthine depths of Diamante.
Subraces:

Miumirani - Chirithen of the Flame, containing a venom that can make others hallucinate and see their dreams, or their nightmares.
