Canitaur

The Canitaur is a magnificent and primal race, revered as the very embodiment of the hunt. Bearing the lower bodies of wolves—ranging in size and strength from lean and swift to massive and powerful—and the upper bodies of humans, they are creatures of both intelligence and instinct. Their heightened senses, especially smell, grant them unparalleled tracking ability, allowing them to follow prey across vast distances, even through shifting winds and fading trails. In many cultures, the Canitaur stands as a symbol of perseverance and natural balance, representing the eternal bond between hunter and wilderness. Yet for all their grace and power, they are also known for their unguarded nature—clumsy in moments of rest, playful among their kin, and prone to bouts of unrestrained joy that make them seem as much beast as human.

Unlike the Capricorn, a related race famed for its precision and discipline, the Canitaur is not suited to the art of ranged combat. Bows, crossbows, and slings feel foreign in their hands; their instincts reject such distance. Instead, they rely on the thrill of the chase and the intimacy of the kill, stalking their prey in silence before leaping upon it with the strength and swiftness of their wolf halves. These primal tendencies have shaped their culture into one of raw tradition—hunts are seen not merely as survival, but as sacred rites, each kill a dialogue between predator and nature. Canitaurs have two sub-races.

Ga-Primas have more canine-like features throughout their upper bodies, like fur, long snouts, and big manes.

Sini-Primas have a more human like form of the upper body, with smooth skin and clean faces, yet still having sharp fangs and pointed canine ears.
