Bladeless
"A master of a discipline that requires no blade nor weapon, the Bladeless follows an ancient martial art that embraces blindness as its foundation—surrendering sight to enter a state of heightened meditation and inner clarity. Originating in the serene land of Mai Tai, this practice evolved from a spiritual exercise into the very essence of the nation’s elite protectors. Blindfolded by choice or tradition, the Bladeless strikes with devastating force in close-quarters combat, relying on raw technique and refined instinct. Their hearing is remarkably sharpened, granting them an uncanny ability to detect and evade incoming ranged attacks—though arcane spells remain a challenge beyond their sensory reach. "
The Bladeless fights entirely unarmed, with nothing but their fists. Their traditional blindfold is able to guide their fists in a meditative-like state, making them the most fierce and effective fist-fighters in history by allowing their bodies to follow nothing but their instincts after years of raw training. Due to this blindfold, the Bladeless always has the condition Blind.
This blindfold results in the following:
Disadvantage on sneaking targets, as you have not heard or noticed them.
Automatically fail visual perception checks
Advantage on Perception checks relying on hearing, smelling or feeling.
Immune to visual-based spells, like hypnotizing spells, gaze attacks, etc.
You will gain advantage on louder creatures making more noise from attacks and other moves, likely, you may have disadvantage on more quiet creatures that haven't done much.
Abilities:
Inner Stillness – You enter a completely still state of meditation. If any enemy enters a medium radius around you throughout the rest of this turn, you will zip to them and inflict a critical hit on them.
Flowstep – Every landed hit with your fists adds to your Flowstep Counter. You may unleash Flowstep Strike, an attack of the total hits on your Flowstep Counter, as an action during any turn (Max 10 hits). After 7 hits are gathered, Flowstep Strike becomes a bonus action instead.
Sensory Reveal – You mark a creature that was recently hiding and is now visible. This creature will have disadvantage against you, and add twice as many hits to your Flowstep Counter if you strike them anytime in the next 2 turns.
Reverberation Strike – You strike an enemy in front of you in a manner that causes your strike to reverberate in a cone in front of you, hitting every enemy behind your first target and rolling to add each of those hits to your Counter.
Havoc State – You use a bonus action to enter a state in which you deal much more damage to objects and environments, but less damage to enemies, for the next 2 turns.
Ultimate Ability – Voidstep Flurry – Your Flowstep Counter is unrestricted, and you can add unlimited amount of hits to it for the next 2 turns. You use your hearing to detect every creature in the battlefield and gain advantage on them. During this turn, you may strike up to 4 different enemies and all strikes of opportunity done by enemies will backlash and result in them getting hit instead, adding to your Counter.
