Aridian

Aridians are a rugged race of humans native to the Bani-Bani island in Diamante, long isolated from the rest of the world until recent times. Their green, thorn-covered skin evolved as a natural defense against the sky-borne predators of their homeland, doubling as camouflage among the towering cacti that dot the arid landscape. This unique adaptation not only shields them from physical harm but makes them formidable survivors in one of the most unforgiving environments in Diamante. Despite their resilience and strength, Aridians are often met with prejudice in foreign lands, as others fear the sharp thorns they bear—leading to their frequent exclusion from more populated regions.
