Angel

The Angels are a race native to Arvore, beings of such elegance and majesty that they are as often worshipped as they are feared. Their noble forms and serene grace inspire awe across the Sisterworlds, and many believe them to be divine emissaries sent by the gods to watch over—or perhaps rule—the mortal realm. Yet despite such reverence, Angels remain distant from the affairs of other races, dwelling high above the clouds in vast sky palaces of alabaster stone and radiant light. From these sanctuaries, they live in self-contained harmony, descending to the lands below only when purpose calls—most often to forge alliances, strike deals, or deliver cryptic decrees that shift the balance of nations.

Angels lack tongues, and are unable to speak. They communicate using Angelic Sign Language amongst their kind, although very few outsiders understand it.

Physically, the Angels are both haunting and beautiful. Their long, flowing blonde hair often drapes over their eyes, giving them an air of mystery, while their great white wings gleam like mirrors of sunlight. But their most striking feature lies in their arms—each lined with five closed eyes. These divine marks remain sealed in their daily lives, opening only in moments of great need to grant the Angels powers beyond them. Whether the Angels are truly godsent or simply another form of humanity elevated by isolation is a question that continues to divide theologians and philosophers alike. To most, they are living symbols of divine perfection; to others, they are a reminder that even beauty born of heaven may conceal a mystery too vast to ever be understood.
