MMI Flimsies - Solved
Who is stealing Church of the Force cultural artifacts, killing to do it?
Why?
Are we sure it's not that Ferrin the Collector guy?
Updates: many citations for facts gathered and solution provided- The collection transported by the Kylo's Star was robbed by the Black Hats pirate gang. facts card citation
- The Black Hats turned in their loot at Yag'dhul System. They met with their contractee to get paid.
- Tilles Pirate Clan were the contractees. Instead of paying agreed credits, they murdered all Black Hats who attended the payment meeting.
- Some of this stolen collection was sold (stolen on contract for?) to Ferrin the Collector facts card citation through his intermediary the late Verin Dola. Bounty hunter "Verin Dola" had a previous career as Imperial Inquisitor Jarik Malis. "Dola" was supposed to deliver said goods to Port Nevermore, Chalcedon, Chalcedon system.
We can infer that Verin Dola's assigned shipment was yanked out from under him. He thought we had done it, and attacked us in Yag'dhul. We think advance agents of Xan Daran did this particular grab, at direction of Almon D'Joy, who was trying to locate key information in the scattered journal of Master Artak
- Tilles transported goods from Yag'dhul, probably to Nar Shaddaa warehouse). Paid off by Bloodsmith Raiders
- Small amount of stolen Jedi artifacts passed through the ownership of Auntie Maicha on Coruscant, rather than being part of the shipment aboard the Kylo's Star. Maicha's shipment of "collectibles" disappeared due to the work of Solias Traft.
- Solias Traft also worked as an agent of "the Collector" now there's an art collector. Traft met with "bounty broker" Fenrisal to arrange several nuisance bounties aimed at one or more members of our group.
- On Nar Shaddaa, Grakor the Hutt confiscated a medium size vault worth of our historic artifacts. He kept them hidden until Master Sifo-Dyas and a few voluntold assistants could come collect them. see problems card 31

Update 12731:08:04: Look, it's true that I was in the Dirtside Cantina for a very late lunch last week.
Also it is true: I did some freeform kvetching about how often various orgs file nuisance bounties on us out of various -isms, or because they don't like how someone in our travel group parts their hair, or in hopes of getting interviewed by a lethargic tabloid, or to distract a potential embezzling inquiry, or maybe because it's Taungsday.
How was I supposed to know that anyone with that much pull in the administrative side of the Bounty Hunter Guild was sitting a few tables behind me?
Solved
We agreed to relocate him, his staff, his orchids, his household
=} He's now ALSO contract employer of former Undercity low income workers
Update: After the "Escape Velocity" bit in latter Melona, Davish and Vanya strolled in during office hours to ask Derma if he still expects to relocate. He bellowed "Confound you!" and assorted such at us, and barely managed to not throw a datapad at our heads.
Think that's a "no".

Where is the Gamesman Jem Vandos?
And Genog Druqod and Talow Kit'Sedda?
V: Update: Kidnapped on LIVE HOLOVID while Danar Vorpadaran was dangling off the edge of the Kotera
V: Further update: This is bizarre.
When we got back to Nar Shaddaa with the Kylo's Star for emergency repairs and supplies, BuShips had Talow Kit'Sedda waiting for us.
Only him! Not the Gamesman or his Champion.
Master Kit'sedda says he was as surprised to see the livestream of himself being kidnapped as anybody else was. He had disembarked from the rental shuttle to follow Aldwin while Genog managed the traffic cops. He could not get through the crowd to catch up. He was still in the bettors' lounge when the livestream started.
So who was the other kidnapped person, disguised to look like Master Kit'Sedda?
How did anybody, especially Fuzzy Eyebrows whose notice Master Kit'Sedda particularly avoided for years, have a sufficiently accurate multidimensional image recording in order to code that disguise?

Kal Holst started growing crystals in his body. They glow green. They cause bluish-white light to emit from his hands.Update: Queen Tri'elle solved it.
47.
Solved
Kal Holst became a Bloodsmith Raider because Eborrean raiders sneak up to a planet populated with sentients, and then eat them. Nobody is passing the word around that this is happening. Nobody is trying to stop this. The Bloodsmith Raiders blame the known Force Orders for not getting involved. They disbelieve any suggestion that we were clueless. The Bloodsmith Raiders are acting in secret to take drastic measures against the Eborreans.Keeping this all secret makes it easier for the Eborreans to keep eating people.
Update: I made him tell Queen Tri'elle. And then we got this information passed to the Alliance of Worlds.

I am by far not the only person who has experienced massive disruptions in the ability to send or receive communications via HoloNet. How colossal of a coordinated, ongoing effort would anyone have to arrange in order to disrupt this much of a galaxy-wide decentralized, redundancy-filled system?

When you're a reigning monarch who just arrived on the sands of a separate government, no matter how nascent that government, you are absolutely obligated to Announce the Presence to the official government's representatives!
The obligation gets only stronger when more than one other organization with resources may sincerely consider dropping a large bomb on the planet just to splat that particular monarch.
We dumped it happily on So'Zen Al Saba's montrals.

The Fremen tactics in the fight to defend their Freedworlds Republic involve a doorbuster mortar. They launch it to attach onto enemy vehicles, especially legged "walker" types. The persistent banging noise gives most sentients with functional audio organs a migraine, sure!
It also summons natives of Chalcedon way up from the deeper sands.
This would be arguably unethical but effective if it got the destroyer-sized sandworms (but it won't, the sands near Port Etmar are not deep enough) or the predatory sand-swimming shark scorpion critters.
Unfortunately it draws in Aur'rook ... who arrive in a foul temper!
Also several stomach crunches.
82.
Reese activated the food delivery droids that have spent decades dormant in the Port Etmar substructure.
Two of my favorite tech geniuses tell me that there are some problems laced throughout the operating code of these droids.
Update: Solved by local hackers in Port Etmar who really did not appreciate the strange effects of the code upon their burrito delivery.
83.
There's something called the Chalcedon Trade Guild which is in an employer/employee relationship with the Tilles Pirate Clan.
Possibly also Black Sun.
And has been doing worse than "merely" heavily exploiting the local moisture farmers and wreck salvagers.
They're tossing the exploited into gladiator pits, too.
Basically this qualifies as a "rival government" to contest the Freedworlds Republic.
I mentioned the whole "Reese Pieces makes a markedly effective Arena Combat Sportscaster" thing. Right?
Update: Solved. The Tilles Pirate Clan has been forcibly dissolved. People who would be inclined to reform it are dead or in far distant prison.
