apostate
When a member of the religiously fundamentalist Death Watch or any schismed variant (such as Raven Guard, or many similar sociological meatheads) has their face seen by anybody under any circumstance, they become "apostate". Some subsects claim the soul is in the transformative stages of departing the body. Other subsects teach that the apostate has lost their soul, and has a limited window in which to retrieve it.
More than half of these sects allow a dispensation for family members of 0th separation (life partner, minor children below age of reason) to have helmet-free access.
The procedure to recuperate from "apostate" is expensive in resources, time, and health. Many will not survive.
I think any "things one may do to not-a-persons" meathead activities are also consequence free if done to an apostate, because of the alleged lack of soul.
If I have no soul (because I'm Jedi) (because I'm Church of the Force) (because I'm not culturally Mando'a) (because people see my face on the regular) (because they feel like shooting me, which would be fine if I'm soulless, so let's apply circular definitions and call it a day), then why would it matter to a Mando soul if I see the face? Why would I, allegedly soulless not-really-a-person type, have the power to blast their soul out of their body just by ocular observation?
Still waiting for someone to explain this one to me.
