Outer Rim

This region exists is a ring outside the Mid Rim and the furthest region reliably explored.   Although technically systems in the Outer Rim are apart of The New Republic many do not obey the laws of the galaxy. A large number of systems have to rely on local government and organizations for protection and order.   Criminal organizations thrive is this region; notable The Hutt Cartels, Black Sun, Pyke Syndicate
