Switch
Switch (designation: RA-7 protocol unit) is a known information broker operating out of Sel Zonn Station in the Brentaal system. Though outwardly a standard Imperial inventory droid, Switch has undergone significant self-directed reprogramming and hardware modifications. He exhibits unusually refined mannerisms, a taste for creature comforts, and a self-styled identity as a "businessman" rather than a droid.
Switch maintains a small but efficient criminal enterprise, specializing in the trade of restricted information, supply manifests, contraband shipments, and sensitive communications. He employs local muscle—primarily Gamorreans—for protection and enforcement. Despite his illicit dealings, Switch conducts business with civility and rarely resorts to violence unless provoked.
Imperial authorities appear to tolerate his presence due to his usefulness and discretion, though he is not officially sanctioned. He has been known to deal with both Imperial personnel and anti-Imperial elements, provided the credits are sound and the risks are minimal.
