Session 11: Echoes of the Jedi
General Summary
Master Denia tasked the heroes with a mission to recover a lost Jedi Holocron from the ruins of the Almas Academy, a once-proud Jedi training ground devastated during the Clone Wars. Upon arrival in the planet’s orbit, the heroes were ambushed by a pirate force consisting of two Z-95 starfighters and a Consular-class cruiser. The ensuing battle was fierce, but the heroes prevailed, destroying all enemy vessels before descending to the planet’s surface. Upon landing, they quickly discovered that Almas’ high-oxygen atmosphere was tainted with dangerous toxins, forcing them to prepare for the hazardous trek ahead.
As they journeyed through the desolate remains of a city, the heroes stumbled upon an unusual standoff—Squibs and Ugor locked in a heated dispute over a half-destroyed silver protocol droid. Mouse, ever resourceful, negotiated with them, offering her power packs in exchange for the droid, successfully defusing the argument. However, the momentary peace was shattered when massive, lizard-like creatures, twisted and corrupted by the dark side, emerged to attack. Fighting alongside the Squibs and Ugor, the heroes managed to slay the beasts before parting ways with their unexpected allies.
With the battered silver protocol droid now strapped to Droshahn’s back, the heroes entered the crumbling academy. A sudden collapse of marble threatened to bury them alive—everyone escaped the falling debris except R5, who was trapped beneath the rubble. Showing remarkable focus, Mouse called upon the Force to lift the heavy stone and free the droid. Reaching deeper into the Force, Mouse used her senses to probe the temple’s energies, but was met with a violent surge of dark side power, confirming that a malevolent presence lingered within the ruins. Pressing on, the heroes reached the main elevator only to find the car missing and the shaft descending into a deep, lightless void with no handholds. The path forward would require ingenuity—and no small measure of courage.
