Bail Organa
Bail Prestor Organa was a senior member of the Galactic Senate and the Viceroy of Alderaan. Born into the noble House Organa, Bail was known for his diplomatic skill, principled leadership, and unwavering commitment to democracy. During the final years of the Republic, he served as a close ally to Senator Padmé Amidala and was an early opponent of Chancellor Palpatine’s executive overreach.
Following the rise of the Galactic Empire, Organa maintained his public role within the Imperial Senate, but covertly began laying the foundation for organized resistance. He was instrumental in uniting disparate opposition figures and cells, providing funding, intelligence, and safe havens for key operatives. Along with Mon Mothma and other like-minded senators, Organa was among the earliest architects of what would become the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
