He entered the Republic Navy during the final years of the Clone Wars, commissioning as a lieutenant in orbital logistics. His efficient, unflinching command style and deep understanding of both naval doctrine and strategic infrastructure made him indispensable during the Republic’s transition to the Galactic Empire.   Tarth rose through the ranks not through bold heroics, but through flawless execution of orders and ruthless enforcement of discipline. By the time of the Pacification Campaigns in the Outer Rim, he had already developed a reputation as a commander who valued precision, loyalty, and ideological purity above all else. He served under Moff Ardus Kaine during the annexation of the Greater Seswenna Sector, where he was promoted to Rear Admiral for his role in restructuring local planetary defense forces into compliant Imperial auxiliaries.   In 3:0:1 ABY, following decades of frontline command and sector-level fleet logistics, Tarth was personally selected by the Imperial High Command to take over the Carida Naval Academy as its Administrator—a position that combines high-level command, academic oversight, and political reliability. His task was clear: root out complacency, increase ideological rigor, and produce a new generation of officers suited for the escalating civil war against the Rebel Alliance.   Now 64, Tarth retains the iron will and sharp intellect of his younger years, though his presence is more often felt in speeches, directives, and disciplinary reviews than in the field.
