Security Complex
ROOM DESIGNATION: SECURITY COMPLEX (DORSAL MODULE ONLY)
Security Operations & Containment Hub — USS Heimdahl
Location: Deck 7, Dorsal Section (Core Module)
Scope: Centralized. No support versions exist in other modules.
FUNCTION OVERVIEW
The Security Complex is a unified, self-contained installation housing all personnel protection, tactical readiness, and detainment functions. It exists only in the dorsal core module, and is not distributed across Heimdahl's secondary or tertiary structures. If the dorsal section is lost or inaccessible, full security operations degrade to emergency protocols handled via localized alert stations and CTAC personnel improvisation.
This isolation is intentional by design — ensuring tighter control, stricter access regulation, and concentrated oversight of all internal tactical matters.
COMPONENTS & FACILITIES
Security Offices
- Central hub for CSec operations.
- Equipped with tactical situation monitors, access logs, internal motion sensors, biometric door access management.
- Also serves as incident command post during onboard crises.
Armory
- Triple-authenticated vault.
- Stores phasers, compression rifles, EMP grenades, neural disruptors, and experimental low-lethality weapons.
- Emergency Borg-countermeasures (e.g., magneto-pulse emitters, anti-nanite injectors) secured under double lock, requiring both CSec and CTAC codes.
Brig
- Four primary containment cells with adjustable force-field density.
- One high-security isolation unit (pattern-scrambling field to prevent transporter extraction).
- Integrated psychological assessment feed for detained individuals (Swayze-monitored, if necessary).
- Optional null-gravity mode for volatile detainees.
Drilling Range
- Holographically adaptive training corridor.
- Configurable for live fire, stun simulation, phaser-course recalibration, and non-lethal crowd suppression scenarios.
- Tied into Nyx’s simulation AI for escalating complexity and pattern recognition tracking.
OPERATIONAL NOTES
- While other modules contain basic emergency lockers and alert buttons, only the dorsal core contains dedicated tactical assets and containment capability.
- Nyx can oversee routine operations (locking/unlocking, internal comms), but escalation triggers CTAC/CSec authorization trees.
- Swayze holds silent override in case of internal mutiny, infiltration, or override attempts via Section 31 contingencies.
Summary:
The Security Complex on Deck 7 is the ship’s singular fortress. It holds no distributed backups, no support modules, and no illusions of redundancy. When conflict erupts within the hull, this is where order is preserved—or restored.
