The Genesis Project
The Genesis Project is a Moryan project to create the perfect galactic scout.
These scouts are born in labs from carefully selected embryos, their DNA heavily modified, all in order to create improved humans - Humans designed to withstand harsh environments on planets and in space.
These produced children are rigorously trained in a variety of skills from a very young age, considered important for their mission i.e. exploring space and settling on habitable planets, and preparing said planets for Ark Ships from the Home World.
During their training, they will be tested as Couples and in the end coupled up based on their strengths and weaknesses for optimized effectivity.
Sent out as pairs, designated Adams (males) and Evas (females) are coupled together to best compliment each others' strengths to ensure effectivity in their task, these explorers are to find possibly habitable planets in the vast universe, and test their habitability. If suited for colonization, the explorers are to establish a permanent base from their starship, activate a beacon focused on the Home World, and start the process of producing children from the cryogenically frozen fertilized eggs in the cargo hold. The Adam and the Eva will train and monitor these children, designated Seeds, and hold absolute power, until the arrival of an Ark Ship, where-after the couple will take on an advisory role for the First Chosen Leader, herefrom designated High Gardener.

He is accountable to The Institute of Cosmic Endeavours and - by extend - The Ministry of Cosmic Matters, who are very eager to see the progress of the project, and he constantly fights to keep them out, trying to satiate them with limited presentations and promises.
Dr. Gavrilsen has gathered a staff of trusted scientist, allocated from his private company, to oversee and help with the project as well as a faculty of teachers and mentors for The Genesis Children, all headhunted and screened by himself and his science staff.

The official goal of The Genesis Project is to scout habitable planets to further the expansion of the glorious nation of Moryana.

The Moryan Government are funding this Project, and the biggest firms are in line to offer their technological invensions to the Project to get their name on it.
History
Some of the most esteemed scientists of Moryana realized that the fertile planet of Moryana, that had supported the human settlers for well above 400 years, was starting to show signs of a coming cataclysmic event, that would leave the planet inhabitable.
They presented this data to the Moryan government, who decided to keep this knowledge a secret from the general population, but commissioned several ministries to come up with solutions for the coming disaster.
The Ministry of Cosmic Matters was commissioned to find the most feasible cosmic solution to this problem, and Ministry turned to their "scientific department" - a semi-autonomous think-tank called The Institute of Cosmic Endeavours.
The Institude board debated for four days, before settling on the proposition of board member and highly esteemed professor Dr. Evgeny Gavrilsen and his "Project Genesis"
The Genesis Project was born and in short time an uninhabited island was given to house the Project and a lot of government funds was allocated to the project.
The first batch of Genesis Children was born in 470 AL: Six boys and six girls.
The second batch was born in 475 AL: Twelve boys and twelve girls.
The third batch in 480 AL: Eight boys and eight girls.
The fourth batch in 485 AL: Seven boys and seven girls.
The first batch is succesfully send off into space in 488 AL.

The Genesis Children are trained in a broad variety of skills, including strategies for survival in harsh environments, extreme weather conditions, dangerous wildlife, gathering of food and ressources and maintenance of equipment, and studies of sciences concidered important by the board as well as childcare.
During their training, they will be tested as Couples and in the end coupled up based on their strengths and weaknesses for optimized effectivity.
At the age of 18 they are expected to be confident scientists in their fields.

I made this world because my mind keeps rambling, and instead of stopping it, I'm riding the wave.
It started with a picture in my mind of a tiger man in a small spacecraft following a giant tiger in space, in the tone of old saturday morning cartoons and the Heavy Metal animated movie.
Then came the idea of his occational ally, a woman in space flying a small asteroid. The more I wrote on her, the more I got intrigued by the past, I deviced.
Right now the flow is focused on her background - namely all related to The Genesis Project.
I do all of the writing and almost all of the drawing myself at this point.
My hope for Star Tiger is a published story or a graphical novel, but my big dream is an animated show.
