Pledge article for Summer Camp 2023
I'll be writing on my Star Tiger world. I'm hoping for more, but I know to ease into things, so I pledge to achieve the badge for finishing eight prompts. I hope to get further than that though.
Theme One: Power
1. One of the big questions of my world, that still needs answering is the big nations of the Cosmos. I have yet to define the spread of the human civilization and how they are governed. An empire seems like an overused trope.
2. What is the fate of the nation of Moryana. Is it still there or has calamity struck? Have they had contact with any of the Genesis Children? 3. My Genesis Children have the power of Atomic Light, which could need some more clear rules.
4. Power dynamics are a big part of my current manuscript - The dynamics between the scrappers and their technomancers, the dynamics between them and new faces, power struggles etc.
5. I still have to put a face on the big boss of the raiders. My current excuse is that I'm debating races before I can continue with him.
6. Maybe I need to flesh out the organization behind The Genesis Project.
Theme Two: Frontier
1. The first frontier coming to mind is the Veil between Cosmos and the "other space". One of the key elements in the Star Tiger's world, and not much has been written on it yet.
2. Space - how habitated is it. How many species are stirring out there and how much do they mingle?
3. Piracy is a main part of my manuscript. How much piracy is going on, and what is being raided.
4. How much of a presence is the united humanity and other nations in space?
5. In my current story, a character is uploading himself into the system of a ship. How widespread is that concept in the world?
6. Maps - Do I need to make a map of a sector in space? Several? A map of the Scrapyacht?
Theme Three: Relics
1. What has the Moryan culture retained from Earth? What has been left behind?
2. Who are the months named after?
3. Filling out the timeline
4. More art and images.
5. Every good space sci fi has a "long lost super-advanced civilization" - Mine is still around. How does that work?
6. What is the past of this universe?
Theme Four: Communication
1. How fast do news travel in space?
2. Who delivers messages and information?
3. The language(s) of The Cosmos. How well do people and species communicate?
4. Lost or hidden languages?
5. How isolated are you in space?

I made this world because my mind keeps rambling, and instead of stopping it, I'm riding the wave.
It started with a picture in my mind of a tiger man in a small spacecraft following a giant tiger in space, in the tone of old saturday morning cartoons and the Heavy Metal animated movie.
Then came the idea of his occational ally, a woman in space flying a small asteroid. The more I wrote on her, the more I got intrigued by the past, I deviced.
Right now the flow is focused on her background - namely all related to The Genesis Project.
I do all of the writing and almost all of the drawing myself at this point.
My hope for Star Tiger is a published story or a graphical novel, but my big dream is an animated show.
