Humans
Humans are the most numerous sentient species residing in Yggdrasil, out numbering every other race 100 to 1. Millions of years before the Fey came Humans claimed an Empire that streched all acrossed the Branches and made slaves of the other races, most notably the Rakashas.
Traces of this empire can be seen on almost every habitable world in the Branches of Yggdrasil. Indeed it is rare to land on a planet and not find humans living there already.
Human cultures are wide ranging and various due to the millions of years of lack of communication between settlements after the fall of their empire.
