The Mexican Junta requests a series of loans from the United States among other international financial organizations, in exchange the Junta agrees to privatize water management, oil extraction and jail administration. The Junta also allows for new mining projects to begin in Chiapas, Tabasco and Oaxaca.   Besides those concessions the Junta also approves the buyout of the surviving Mexican banks and the consolidation of many monopolies, notoriously among them the Castañeda Group in the automobile sector, the Mexican Television Network as a broadcaster and ISP.   The Junta proceeds to use their newly acquired capital to buy military equipment from the United States.
