Gang 21 was defeated by a combined efforts of law enforcement agencies and superhero team Los Defeñsores
Since 2014 the gang had been losing strength, thanks to constant raids by law enforcement and local vigilantes.
In 2015 Los Defeñsores raided their headquarters, capturing the leadership and finally putting the gang to rest.
These events would later be narrated by Los Defeñsores in their best seller book Xopan Cuicatl
