What happens when superpowers start appearing world wide? Violence Happens

The “Panic” refers to the two decade period from the singularity up to 2012 where the power balance of the world, but particularly that of criminal organizations shifted radically, resulting in a worldwide explosion of violence as many organizations vied for power, some going so far as to try to take over entire countries and in many cases the excessive response by many governments.   The “Panic” refer to both the global phenomenon of the shift in power and, more commonly, to the civil conflicts which were triggered around these shifts.   The term is often criticized for maligning popular uprising during the nineties and 2000s by conflating them with the criminal violence of the decade as well as for being used to justify their violent repression by government authorities.
