Ley Energy Collector

Description

Available in a wide array of sizes, ley energy collectors consist of accumulator rods constructed from a rare, slate grey metal, and a large capacitor in a steel case. These accumulator rods draw in ley field energy from the environment around them, which is then used to charge Ley Field Cores. Some fancier, more expensive cores can come with collectors built into their frame. The larger the item the collector is meant to charge, the more accumulator rods it has.

Some more basic weapons have been designed with just collectors rather than field core, allowing continuous low energy use without the need for cores.
