Dark Wings

Description

A specialized unit of astral ships specially designed for stealth strikes and reconnaissance. Different Wing formations were assembled for different purposes, from small, long range fighter squadrons to assault fleets consisting of large class destroyers, carriers, and snub-nosed fighters.

History

The Dark Wings were regularly deployed to handle a wide variety of situations across the Empire, but outside of war zones they were often employed in covert operations. The Saikar Coalition - S.A.C notably put together one such Wing for Operation Icebreaker.
