Astral Link Network

Description

The Astral Link Network is a fast travel system established by the The Saikar Empire shortly after their expansion beyond the atmosphere of Bastion. Governing such large areas necessitated the ability to travel quickly from place to place, so much effort was dedicated to trying to find a way to use the Ley Field to do so.

This law was discovered by Cayen Zharr in 2916 PD, who proposed that there was an innate pairing or connection between Ley Field nodes. He created a way to determine a unique address for various nodes, and found that if those addresses were inscribed into key parts of an existing teleportation circle, and technomantic energies were applied, the user could instantaneously travel from one node to another. By creating a transportation circle inscribedn with the local area address, the arrival location could be focused to a consistant place.
