History

Creation

After Grian finished forming the Creators focused on building the planet Brulae but the veil between the Elemental Plane of Fire was thin on this world. Soon the fires of the Plane infested the planet and great volcanoes sprung up belching smoke, ash and molten rock forth. Denizens of the Fire Plane roamed free and ended any hope of cultivating life on the world.

Ancient

The Azer people were the first through the portal leading into the Material Plane from the Plane of Fire. They constructed great citadels of bronze and rock using the natural fires of the world to power their great forges.

A few thousand years later the Fire Giants made their way through the portals and were met with fierce resistance from the Azer. Much stronger and more powerful they managed to push through but the Azer were too numerous to completely displace so they made an uneasy truce still in place till this day.

Recent

A great Spelljammer crashed on the broken remains of Ylia and established an outpost. Soon trade relations were opened with the Azer for metals, stone and finished goods. Some even brokered deals with the isolationist Fire Giants for their superior weapons and armor.
