Desslerix
Desslerix is the lunar dragon emperor of the Neogi .
Desslerix does very little directly, preferring to rely on a network of lieutenants and allies.
Their natural form is that of a massive, multilegged black and silver lunar dragon, at home in the void of astral space, making their home among the stars. They can take on the form of a androngenous astral elf for the sake of their less grand servants.
Desslerix is fixated on the erradication of the Hurikami dwarves -- having studied prophecies and protents that indicated that this culture, these dwarves, are the biggest threat to their dominion.
Desslerix and Prophecy The prophecy that Desslerix fears was given to him by an astral drow witch who serves as their soothsayer and consort, Nyxalia Veldryn, aka the Veil-Seer. Their fear of the contents of this prophecy is obsessive.The Song of Lunar Shadows
Beneath the pale and silver glow where shadowed oceans lie,
A dragon’s soul shall rise once more to pierce the endless sky.
Forged by hands both old and bold, in secret halls of stone,
A blade shall carve through threads of fate, the weaver overthrown.
Beware the flame that wakes the stars, the breath of ancient kings,
For when it roars, the heavens quake, and shattered worlds it brings.
The web shall break, the strands undone, its labyrinth unspun,
And in the night where moons align, the final war begun.
Oh Emperor, the stars do weep, for time is not your own;
A thousand eyes may watch the void, but none can claim the throne.
Where light meets dark, the balance turns, and shadows fade to fire,
The tyrant’s crown will turn to ash, consumed by their desire.
