Holystorm is an army made by the families of witch hunters gathering to end magic once and for all, a plan they had devised since the witch hunts in the 14th century.

Ascal Fideliscus is a fae that hated muggles with a passion having lost his entire village to them, witch hunters, he has always lent dark wizards a helping hand, after hearing the prophecy, he comes back to Scotland to help with the resurrection of Merlin, thinking that they need the best wizard to combat whatever this is. But instead, they got Boutin, he assumes that two of the impossibilities had been fulfilled, the arrival and mistake, now it was a choice that needed to be made.   Boutin told Ascal to go to the witch hunters which he knew has been alive since in the history of magic, Boutin never saw them completely die out when he went to Hogwarts to announce his presence.   this led to the development of the witch hunter AIs called the Holystorm, they can analyse wands a millisecond before they are cast and take appropriate measures. Boutin storms the ministry during Christmas holidays where most of the Aurors are deployed or sent home for the holidays, leaving Ron Weasley, who Hermione was angry at as he should be looking after the kids, and a few aurors to deal with the Holystorm. The only people that survived were Hermione and McDaima.   Boutin takes over the place with the muggles guarding the place. The news reached Harry Potter when Peter Strike, who was pretending to betray the ministry back then, warns Harry not to come to the ministry without backup. He does so anyway, taking a few Aurors and Jerrod Falloneson, Professor Falloneson's older brother.
