Gravity Generators

Gravity Generators are devices that utilise Dark Crystals to create a Gravity Field. This eliminates the need for Zero-g equipment such as Magnetic Boots and Exo-skeletal Suits; and the need for ships to attempt at creating the same effects as gravity by utilising centrifugal forces from spinning and acceleration.  

Dark Crystals

In 2166 Earth was hit by what people call a Dark Comet. It was comprised of rock and Dark Crystals. After many studies into this strange material, it was found that these crystals can be used to manipulate gravity.  

Gravitech

In 2170, Gravitech began developing Gravitech-One; the first commercial use gravity generator. New and old Spacecraft are being upgraded with this emerging technology, increasing the comfort and ease of space travel.  

Societal Reception

Great excitement was felt across many, though there are those who are concerned and even sceptical about this technology. There have been many reports by journalists who have expressed their worry, especially since the incident of the Saharan Climatology Research Complex.   Not only this, but business owners in the Zero-G Equipment industry are experiencing a drop in profits as the demand of such commodities are decreasing with each ship and station that installs a Gravity Generator. However, ministers of the Nations of Earth Alliance and the Mars Union ensures that every ship will require Zero-G Equipment in-case of an emergency.
