Tortles

Tortles are a fascinating race of humanoid turtles who call the Adar Island home. These gentle creatures have an innate curiosity about the world around them and are known for their love of exploration and learning. They are often seen as the wise sages of Sorum, with their long lifespans and love of knowledge.   Tortles are highly skilled architects, known for their impressive stonework and architecture. They take great pride in their creations and are always seeking to improve their craft. Many of the grand temples and other impressive buildings across Sorum are the work of Tortle architects.   In addition to their love of architecture and knowledge, Tortles are also skilled in combat. Their tough, scaly shells provide excellent protection, and they are powerful fighters in close combat. Despite their strength and combat prowess, Tortles are a peaceful race and only fight when necessary.   Tortles are highly social creatures and live in close-knit communities. They are led by elders who have accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience over their long lives. These elders are highly respected and play an important role in the day-to-day life of Tortle communities.
