Aldar

The Aldar were a highly advanced civilization of ancient humans who are believed to have existed in Sorum for a significant period of time before the rise of the demigods. They were known for their incredible mastery of magic, which was far beyond the abilities of any other known race in Sorum, with some comparing their magical capabilities to that of the modern-day Irium. The Aldar were also known for their exceptional knowledge of architecture and engineering, and they built many monumental structures throughout Sorum. Unfortunately, very little is known about the Aldar culture or way of life, as they left behind no written records or artifacts. All that remains of the Aldar are the ruins of their cities and structures, which are scattered throughout Sorum.   Despite the lack of knowledge about the Aldar, their legacy has endured through the ages. Many scholars and historians study their ruins and artifacts, attempting to piece together what they can about this ancient and mysterious civilization. The Aldar are also remembered in many myths and legends, with some even claiming that they possessed the power to open gateways to other worlds, which ultimately led to their demise.
