Way of The Eight Limbs

Martial Inspiration: Muay Thai (มวยไทย)
You are a walking weapon. Your fists break bone, your knees crush will, and your elbows cut like blades. Practitioners of the Eight Limbs enter battle like storms, fast, vicious, and disciplined.

(3rd Level)

Martial Arts Weapons

You are proficient with arm guards, knee spikes, and tonfa (unarmed strikes that deal slashing or bludgeoning damage). These count as martial arts weapons for you.

Eight Limb Striking

When you hit with an unarmed strike or martial arts weapon, you may deal bludgeoning or slashing damage (your choice) instead of the normal type. When using a bonus action to make an unarmed strike, you can make two attacks instead of one. This can be done a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier per long rest (minimum 1).

Clinch Fighter

When a creature you can see enters your reach, you may use your reaction to attempt a clinch:

  • The target makes a Strength saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency + Dex or Wis).
  • On a failure, its speed becomes 0 until the end of its next turn, and it has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you while in your reach.

(6th Level)

Counter-Knee

When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a single unarmed strike. If it hits, the creature’s movement is reduced by 10 ft until the end of its next turn.

Elbow Cut

Once per turn when you hit with a melee strike, you may cause the target to begin bleeding. They take your Martial Arts die as bleed damage at the start of their next turn. This effect ends early if they receive healing or succeed a DC 13 Constitution saving throw at the end of their turn.

(10th Level)

Shin Guard

While not wearing heavy armor or using a shield, your AC increases by 1.
In addition, when you use Deflect Strike, you reduce the damage by an extra Martial Arts die, and may move 5 ft without provoking attacks.

Elbow Barrage

When you score a critical hit with an unarmed strike or martial arts weapon, you may immediately make another unarmed strike as a bonus action (does not consume Focus Points).

(14th Level)

God of War Form

You become the embodiment of perfected violence.

War Form
As a bonus action, you can spend 2 Focus Points to enter the God of War Form for 1 minute. While active:

  • Your unarmed strikes score a critical on a 19 or 20.
  • When you reduce a creature to 0 HP, you may move up to your speed and make a free unarmed strike.
  • Clinched enemies take damage equal to your Wisdom modifier at the start of their turn.
  • You are immune to being pushed or knocked prone.

You can use this feature once per long rest, or again by spending 3 additional Focus Points.
