Path of the Colossus King
“Stand tall. Swing wider. Rule by right of rage.”
There are humans who still pass on the legend of the barbarian king. Followers of Osh don’t just fight, they loom. Empowered by the blood of giants, these warriors carry the legacy of the war-king who felled mountains and split rivers with his dual greataxes. To walk the Path of the Colossus King is to rage like a living siege weapon.
(3rd Level)
Might of the Colossus
You embody the raw force of titanic ancestors. When you enter your rage, you gain the following benefits:
- Giant’s Grasp: You may wield two-handed weapons in one hand, but only while raging and only one at a time (for now).
- You can throw a two-handed weapon as if it had the Thrown property (20/60). If it already has Thrown, its range becomes (30/90).
- If you are wielding only one weapon, it returns to your hand at the start of your next turn (no action needed).
- Titanic Leap: While raging, you can leap up to 10 ft vertically or 20 ft horizontally without a running start, and you ignore falling damage under 40 ft.
These features only work with two-handed or versatile martial melee weapons.
(6th Level)
King’s Reach
Your strikes hit like falling towers.
- Your melee attacks with two-handed weapons gain +5 ft reach while raging.
- Once per turn, when you hit a Large or smaller creature with a two-handed weapon, you may attempt to shove it 10 ft away (no action required).
- If you're wielding a mastered weapon, add your Rage damage bonus to any push or shove effect applied during your turn.
(10th Level)
Echo of Osh
You fight with the overwhelming rhythm of the Conqueror himself.
- Once per turn, when you throw a two-handed weapon and it returns, your next melee attack with it deals an extra 2d6 damage and gains advantage.
- When you critically hit, you may choose to shout Osh's Battle Cry (PB/long rest):
- All enemies within 30 feet must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + Prof + Con mod) or be frightened until the end of your next turn.
- Allies who can hear you gain temporary HP equal to your Rage damage bonus.
(14th Level)
The Twin Axes of Osh
You have mastered the impossible.
While raging, you may wield two two-handed melee weapons as if they were one-handed. When doing so:
- You may make a single additional attack as part of your Attack action with the off-hand weapon (does not use a bonus action).
- Both weapons must be two-handed melee weapons with the Heavy property.
- These attacks are made without penalty and may benefit from your mastery properties.
- You can throw both weapons using your Might of the Colossus feature; they return at the start of your next turn, or immediately if you're empty-handed.
While dual-wielding two-handed weapons, you cannot use a shield or carry anything in your hands, but you are considered Large for the purposes of grapples, shoves, and being shoved.
