Hungering Maw
Mythic Patron: The Fat God, Prince of Excess
There are legends of a being too large for the mortal realm, seated eternally on a throne of gold, his shadow blotting out stars. Called the Fat God by those who fear him, he is the cosmic embodiment of gluttony, hoarding, consumption, and selfish survival. Yet, he is also protector of plenty, patron of abundance, and devourer of scarcity.
When you bind yourself to him, you do not just borrow power, you are swallowed by it. In return, you are shielded by hunger, fed by protection, and granted the secret right of the devouring: to take what you survive.
Your void magic oozes with mass and hunger. Your protection is paid for in appetite.
(1st Level)
Patron Feat: Mawbound
You gain proficiency in Intimidation or Heavy Armor (your choice).
When you gain temporary hit points from any source, you may grow momentarily larger, until the start of your next turn, creatures within 5 ft have disadvantage on attack rolls against allies other than you.
Once per short rest, when you reduce a creature to 0 HP, you can consume their essence: regain temporary hit points equal to your Warlock level + your Charisma modifier.
Ritual: “Feast of Binding”
“Take. Eat. This is mine now.”
Components: A roast (or hearty meal), three coins dipped in honey, the name of something lost, whispered over the meal.
Casting Time: 10 minutes
Effect: You summon your Famished Wendigo. This gluttonous quadruped begins small and grotesque, but with your offerings and deeds, it evolves into a nightmarish guardian.
This rite marks you as one of the Gluttonous One’s chosen.
- You share telepathic communication (60 ft) with it.
- It levels up at class levels 1, 5, 10, and 15, gaining new powers and actions.
- This familiar links you to your patron and powers
Stage I: Famished Wendigo
Small Aberration, Neutral

Senses: Darkvision 60 ft, Keen Smell
Languages: Understands your speech, replies in gurgles
Traits:
- Hoarder’s Tongue: Once per short rest, can grab a small unattended object within 10 ft.
- Feed Me: If a creature dies within 10 ft, Yara may consume a part of it. You gain 1 temporary hit point.
Actions:
- Gnaw: +4 to hit, 1d6+2 piercing

Common Deeds of the Glutton
You earn Deeds not through experience but through appetite, excess, gluttony, consumption, and sacrifice.

Stage II: Ravenous Wendigo
Medium Aberration, Neutral

Traits:
- Vomit Offering (1/day): Target creature within 10 ft must make a Con save or lose concentration and be nauseated (disadvantage on attacks) for 1 turn.
- Sated Hunger: When Yara-Ma kills or consumes, your Voidblast gains +1d6 necrotic for 1 minute.
Voidblast Upgrade
Swallowing Maw: AOE 10 ft cone. All creatures must Dex save or take psychic damage and suffer -1 AC until your next turn.
(9th Level)
Ritual: “The Feast Without End”
Components: A whole roasted beast, eaten in full, in silence, with no sharing. Must burn 100 gp in coin at the end.
Casting Time: 10 minutes
Effect: You contact the Fat God, who manifests as a golden rotund mask with jeweled teeth. He speaks in groans, cravings, and riddles of hunger. You may ask one question related to self-benefit, resource gain, or devouring magic. The answer may include:
- A location of great treasure
- A creature with “fat magic”
- A boon: once per long rest, gain temporary HP = twice your Warlock level when you eat a full ration in combat.

Stage III: Bloated Wendigo
Large Aberration, Chaotic Neutral

Traits:
- Devour Magic (Recharge 5–6): When a spell is cast within 60 ft, Yara may swallow it. Make a Cha save = 10 + spell level. On success, it is absorbed and can be cast by you once within 1 hour.
- Aura of Plenty (10 ft): Allies who start their turn in the aura gain temp HP = your Charisma modifier.
Voidblast Upgrade
Greedy Hunger: Choose one target hit. They must succeed a Wis save or one buff/effect on them ends and you or your familiar gains it.

Stage IV: Glutted Wendigo

Traits:
- Hunger Made Flesh: While mounted by you, you cannot be frightened or charmed.
- Devour Essence (Recharge 6): Target with less than half HP must succeed a Con save or be consumed. If they die this way, regain one spent spell slot.
- Living Vault (1/day): Choose one item you’ve fed to your familiar. It reappears infused with necrotic magic, doubling its effect.
Voidblast Upgrade
Maw of Denial: 15-ft cone. All creatures in the area must make a Con save or lose resistance/immunity to a damage type of your choice for 1 minute.
