Guardian of the Ward

(3rd Level )

Arcane Warding Circle

You learn to cast Arcane Warding Circle, a special defensive evocation. When you cast an abjuration spell of 1st level or higher, you can project a protective circle (10 ft radius) within 30 ft that lasts for 1 minute or until you lose concentration. While inside the circle:

  • Allies gain +2 AC and advantage on saving throws against magic.
  • You may move the circle up to 10 feet as a bonus action.

You may create this ward a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.

Empowered Magic: Protective Aṣé

When you roll for an abjuration spell with the Roll to Cast system, if you roll a 10 or higher, you may grant temporary hit points equal to your Intelligence modifier + spell level to yourself or an ally within 10 feet.

(6th Level)

Redirect Harm

You can intercept magical damage. When a creature within 30 feet takes damage from a spell and you can see them, you may use your reaction to redirect part of the damage to yourself. You take half the damage, and the target takes the remaining half.

You can use this reaction a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier per long rest.

(10th Level)

Fortified Anchor

While standing still (no movement on your turn), you gain the following benefits:

  • Resistance to all spell damage.
  • You cannot be moved, knocked prone, or teleported against your will.
  • Allies within 10 feet gain advantage on concentration checks.

(14th Level)

Bulwark Mastery

You may now maintain two Arcane Warding Circles at once. Additionally, when you cast counterspell or dispel magic, you may create a one-time shield of force (AC 15, HP 20) around an adjacent ally that lasts for 1 minute or until destroyed.

You may do this once per short rest.
