Courier Knight
The Courier-Knights of the Usagiri began as elite delivery runners trained in both combat and evasion, trusted to cross dangerous borders during times of war and plague. Over generations, their courier paths became sacred circuits of knowledge and survival. Today, these warriors ride swift beasts, outrun monsters, and shield allies in motion. They strike hardest not from stillness, but from unstoppable velocity.

Swift Formation
You specialize in mounted or high-speed fighting formations.
- While mounted, riding a beast companion, or moving more than 10 feet on your turn, you gain:
- +1 AC
- Advantage on opportunity attack saves (enemies have disadvantage)
- When you use your movement, you may designate one creature within 5 feet of your path as covered until the start of your next turn. While covered:
- They gain +1 AC and do not provoke opportunity attacks while moving.
- You are proficient in Animal Handling and Land Vehicles, and have advantage on checks made to navigate, scout, or travel quickly overland.
(6th Level)
Intercept Courier
You turn speed into sudden defense.
- When a creature targets an ally within 10 feet of you with an attack or spell, you may use your reaction to move up to your speed and:
- Impose disadvantage on the triggering attack, or
- Take the hit/spell yourself (must end movement adjacent to ally)
- If you end this movement adjacent to the attacker, your next weapon attack against them before the end of your next turn deals bonus damage = your Fighter level.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus per long rest.
(10th Level)
Path of No Return
You learn to flow through the battlefield like a streak of momentum.
- Difficult terrain no longer slows your movement.
- Once per turn, when you move at least 15 feet, you may:
- Dash as a bonus action, or
- Make a free Shove or Grapple attempt as part of your movement.
- When mounted or riding a Usagiri beast, your mount gains evasion: if it succeeds on a Dexterity save, it takes no damage instead of half.
(14th Level)
Momentum Breaker
You strike with the unstoppable rhythm of a charging storm.
Once per turn, when you move at least 20 feet and make a weapon attack, you may activate one of the following effects:
- Ride-Through Rend: If you hit, deal an additional weapon damage die, and may keep moving without provoking opportunity attacks.
- Windwall Cut: If you miss, your speed becomes 0 until end of turn, but the target is blinded until the start of your next turn.
- Courier’s Command: You and up to two allies within 15 feet gain advantage on their next attack or Dash action taken before your next turn.
You may activate Momentum Breaker Proficiency Bonus times per long rest.
