Vescorus (vess-cor-uhs)
Slightly more visually intimidating are the Vescorus people. Rumoured to eat magical items to gain power, a great deal of mystery still surrounds the Vescorus.
Vescorus from the North are cat-like, furred, dual horned, with glowing colored irises and dark colored sclera, called ‘chimeras’. They have hooves and reptilian tails. Females tend to only have one set of horns, which are usually curved.
Southern ones are dragon-like, scaled, multi-horned with small horns growing in place of facial hair, often have glowing white irises with flat black sclera and called ‘manticores’. They have tufts of fur along their bodies, usually at the joints, and two rows of razor sharp teeth. Females tend to have tusks and quilled tails, while males tend to have fangs and scorpion-like tails.
