Icaron (ih-kah-rohn)
Traditionally and commonly considered a rival people to the Daedalon are the rodent-like Icaron. Icaron found around large bodies of water are bat-like and called ‘Desmodus’ while land bound Icaron tend to be rat or mouse-like and are commonly known as ‘Murois’.
The bat-like Desmodus tend to have elongated ears and webbed fingers. Their hair tends to grow more around their arms, neck, and around their face except for the temples. They tend to have exaggerated or crooked sharp teeth, and yellow to red eyes with dark sclera. They have excellent hearing, and generally tend to be named after animals or forces of nature. Surnames are considered unimportant unless there is a particularly important ancestor.
Rat-like Murois are taller, sleeker, and have strong immune systems while mouse-like ones are shorter, fluffier, and have a better sense of smell.
