Barbarian

Barbarian is a loose term applied to any members or communities that descend from a particular shamanistic and nomadic Human tribe. Barbarians generally avoid large cities and tend to settle in extreme natural locales like mountain ranges, deep woods and even deserts. Through shared ancestry and a preferential selection for powerful builds, many Barbarian tribes have achieved truly astounding physical statures, even outpacing some half orcs and half ogres.   Barbarian tribes are often borderline anarchistic, like The Slabs and Sykoss of the Pandoran Mountains, held together only by a powerful leader or a common enemy. Some, like the Barbarians of The Great North Wood, are relatively peaceful and cooperative within their own communities. The Scarlet are an unusual Barbarian tribe who eschew many traditional Barbarian traits but still possess the trademark strength and stature of their kin.
