Facial Characteristcs

Piercing emerald green with flecks of gold, reflecting both warmth and sharp perception.

Body type

Slender yet sturdy, with a lithe, graceful frame honed from years of traversing the wilds.

Sight

She wears an elegant blend of leather armor and natural elements like bark and woven leaves, accompanied by a dark green cloak that allows her to blend seamlessly with her surroundings.

Emotional State

Empathetic and calm, quietly inquisitive

Happy

Her happiness is not overt or excessively expressive. Instead, Vara radiates a calm, soothing energy that permeates her surroundings, making the air around her seem lighter and more vibrant.   Small, warm smiles grace her lips, more in her eyes than on her face, often accompanied by a thoughtful nod or a quiet laugh.   She takes the time to commend others, recognizing their achievements and efforts, and offering encouragement to celebrate even small victories.

Sad

She tends to withdraw slightly, spending more time alone in her beloved forests or tending to her duties with less of her usual engagement. Her sadness is a quiet, reflective state rather than outwardly sorrowful.   Her usual aura of gentle light might dim, as if the forest itself shared in her melancholy, affecting the ambient life around her—flowers might droop slightly, and animals could seem less lively.   Even in sadness, Vara finds ways to turn her feelings into a resolve to prevent future losses or to rectify whatever caused her grief. Her sadness fuels her dedication to her duties, perhaps driving her to teach more fervently or guard her community more diligently.

Angry

Unlike fiery anger, Vara's wrath would be cold and sharp. Her voice usually remains even, but her words would cut with precision, and her emerald eyes would harden like jewels.   She maintains her composure, channeling her anger into focused action or decision-making rather than impulsive reactions.   If her anger stems from threats to her community or the natural world, Vara takes decisive steps to remove those threats, her actions backed by a fierce protective instinct

Biography

Vara grew up in the sacred groves near Hallowmere, training as a ranger under her father who also died at the hands of The Cult of Tiamat.

She has a long-standing bond with Kovax, having fought alongside him in the early days of the guild against countless enemies. Vara often recalls their shared struggles as the foundation of her dedication to the guild.

When Kovax returned to Hallowmere, answering Bahamut’s divine call, Vara was one of the first to greet him. She saw his return as a sign that Bahamut’s plan for their world was unfolding and welcomed him back into the fold with deep respect and admiration.
