The Lost Tower of Qanit Phobes

Balancing yourself you realise you have teleported to a new location, if you hadn't figured already. The lake and sparse grassland has been replaced by the dusty ground of a mountain peak, surrounding its base dense, lush forest. Peaking over the ledge you can see a fair waterfall, flowing into rocky pools that drizzle over creating a moderate stream. Gazing out across the landscape ahead, the view is breathtaking. It’s quite dark but the moon and stars light the sky, unburdened by artificial light. You can see across the grand forest, its shadowy tree peaks, looking like a great black wave washing down before you and out to the moonlight sword coast, the view of little warm glints, sparkle from what you assume is Waterdeep, the expansive city seems so small now. “ Here we are folks! Welcome to the Lost Tower of Qanit Phobes” You turn to see Wensle arms folded, looking rather prideful of this secretive location to which she has brought you, she stands at a distance in front of a rickety, wooden, multi story tower, linked to an abode by what you can guess is a corridor or hallway esk bridge, the dusty ground in front of it seems a little out of place in this curious, ramshackle setting, a well cultivated garden of wildflowers. - Session 1 

The Lost Tower of Qanit Phobes is the home to recluse wizard Mr Phobes and his assistant Wensle, the structure itself from the outside seems quite rickety and abandoned, entering the home on your own without knowing it's little tricks you would find it to be empty and decrepit but with the party's help of Wensle she reveals what hides beneath its illusionary magic, a homely residence with connecting loft, the office/observatory of Qanit Phobes. The wizard procured this spot of land when looking into the properties of the Fountain of Memories, he knew none of human decent could enter the High Forest that surrounds the hills of the Lost Peaks and found it a fitting position for his move into seclusion. Using his advanced knowledge of portal usage, he conceived a means of travel for himself and his apprentice to journey to and from their home without ever stepping foot in the forest and disturbing the balance of its inhabitants. He has resided here for 6 years and Wensle now accompanying him for 4 of those.
