Operation Details

Well, this was quite the experience. It felt good and bad to see my old home again. It's been so long, I had even forgotten how to get there and got us all lost for a bit. Though, like many things, even a journey that doesn't go as planned can lead to some good things.   We ran into a small group of soldiers out of Caer Callidyr who had gotten split off from a larger group on their way to Aethilar. We left them on friendly terms and under the impression that our group was just heading back to our home in Ogden after a long time away.       Ogden is in really rough shape. Lack of food and shelter. Very few native Ogden ffolk. Despite all of this, the people that we were able to meet seemed to be in better spirits than one would expect.       The person in charge currently seems to be a man named Davos. He seems like a strong and stalwart leader, if a bit sleepy. His assistant Mary is quite the delight though.       There is a lot to do in Ogden, and I look forward to going back soon. Our group ended up rescuing a group of orphans from servitude to a huge goblin while we were there, and setting up and funding a place for them among some of the native inhabitants of Ogden who have stayed. I plan to revisit soon, as long as command authorizes my return. I think there's potential there. I can almost smell it.       A quick extra. This was my first mission with our newest little kobold Ralla. If you get a chance to have her along you most certainly won't regret it.
