Objective
Test-run "Lucille", retrieve magical horseshoes from Byron's family members near Ogden
Observations
Lucille - A big ass vehicle. Self operated mobile wagon w/ a built in engine powered by coal and steam. Works on all types of terrain, don't get it too deep in the water since it can't float. 5 feet tall off the ground. Push both for forward, pull both backwards. Pull a lever for an individual tread. If the whistle goes, pull the lever in the forge to dump out the fire. Byron inspired by a large metal spider in the southeastern forests. Bring it to a whistle and then slow down for optimum speed. Has an emergency balloon if too high up, kick the bottom right wheel of the cannon from our side to deploy. Four keys in four holes will "protect" the cart for 10 minutes. Byron taught us how to load and a cannon. Takes a bit of strength to open her up, but loading after is pretty simple. Gotta take some teamwork to get it to drive good. If the coals go out, gotta put a flammable thing in the front compartment to use as a separate light. Takes about 18 seconds to load the cannon. Go to Lark to learn more about coal control. Lucille's cannon does one hell of a shot, leaving about a 15 impact zone and 60 foot blast zone.
The old fort - there were 'bout 4 people that ambushed us. They all had some type of bird tattoo, Lark suspected they were Treachery folk. They had poison arrows that did a helluva hit, like what they were used on soldiers before.
Near the fort, there's an ore of some type. It's got a large stone femur and skull near it, as well as being greenish in color. If you stick near it too long, it'll start to petrify you. There were signs of previous explorers, but Lark couldn't tell how old they were. Also, when Halar got close, he started getting really agitated.
Follow up
Maybe send a crew up to Caer Callydir and see if we can make sure the Treachery ain't up to no good involving us. If not, we should figure out what their crew was doing at our old stompin' grounds.
Lark said it'd take a couple days to fully excavate, and that was before the petrification came into effect. If you want to investigate it further, keep that in mind.

Operation Details
We got the horseshoes, and Lark had this weird rock that gave us a bit of insight on Byron's magic. Apparently the horseshoes were enchanted with magic by some folk from way east called the Inskari. They were notable for a big empire, portals, and golems.
