Blythe 12 Endgame Gambit

 

Objective

Destroy Blythe and its creature at all costs.
 
 

Observations

Snowdown has the ability to either create or summon HUGE creatures from alternate planes.
 

Follow up

Wait a day, but but would be good for a recon to see what if anything is left of Blythe.
 

Preparation Details

Captain Tell prepped the mission.
  She provided the frontline attack on Blythe, essentially being the distraction.
  As our team was tasked with delivering to arcane weapons
  2 crystal spheres, 1 an earth quake maker, the 2nd calls in a tsunami.
 
 
 
 
 

Operation Details

We entered the cave network near the First Circle temple and followed it to Blythe. As we passed the gate Xion previously discovered we entered a hardened arcane facility. Walls made of unusually strong metal.
  It was designed as a circular hallway surrounding a huge circular chamber.
 
 
  After the gated entrance we were next blocked by a arcane field. The control panel was visible but on the other side. Mundane items needed to be thrown through, after several volleys we were able to shut the field down.
  However not before we were spotted by a lady mage. As we were held back by the arcane field, she laid some sort of fireball charge, that waited for the field to drop for to explode.
 
 
  After the arcane filed was a locked metal door. Ezra picked that door to find... ANOTHER Fireball waiting for us.
  Once we passed through what looks to have been a guard station we found the lade mage beginning some sort of ritual. We killed her before she could complete it.
  After killing her we were then restricted by ANOTHER locked metal door this once about 15x15 feet.
 
 
  After repairing the gear running it we were able open it to a hall of dark lightening and maelstroms. From trial and error on a control panel, and agile maneuvers, Gixxy was able to get to a first chamber of what seemed to be electrical control Kardan. Further exploration found a heart in a separate chamber, also connected by arcane cables.
 
 
  Having surveyed the base, Gizzy opted to have Erik manage the control to allow Gixxy, using his unique gifts to get in to the Beasts chamber to deliver the crystal ball weapons. Then left and began destroying the electrical systems with Kardan. During that, Kardan fell from injuries.
 
  While this continued on the Beast contained in the center chamber broke through the containment walls striking Ezra on unconscious. However the Beast continued to be blinking back and forth between plains. When he grabbed Ilya on instant and pulled her into the chamber, he lost grip of her then next when he blinked out of the way.
 
 
  Ilya reports when she fell she did take great damage but, but Tempus blessings rose again.
  Erik ran to Ezra to stabilize them, then ran to Kardan to stabilize them. Once Ilya was able to escape the Beasts chamber she was able to actually bring Ezra conscious and Gixxy healed Kardan.
 
 
  At the point Captain Tell Messaged and evacuation which was a dash through collapsing cave as the Beast had crushed the quake crystal ball and the local area was quickly coming down.
  We made it to the surface, where the Captain in dragon form rescued and airlifted us back to safety.
