Solasum
Solasum is different from the more cosmopolitan high fantasy settings that tend to define the 5th edition of this wonderful game, that we all enjoy. Solasum is a world of monsters, and at times the most horrible of these monsters are the humans (among other classic sapient species) that inhabit this world.
Violence, fantastic racism, religious prejudice, illness, and hopelessness are not only a part of the setting, but have woven into the fabric of the world.
Welcome to the continent of Solasum, the Land of the Setting Sun. This is a world equivalent in many ways to our own Europe in the late 1300s to early 1400s. Parts of the continent are experiencing a renaissance of sorts, while others are firmly entrenched in traditional feudal mindsets. This is a time of transition, and with that comes chaos. A low fantasy suppement for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition.
